A Year of Ups & Downs

Man has it been a crazy year full of ups and downs!

The up’s – Kasey and I made a vacation out of my training in Houston back in April. He put a ton of effort into a surprise proposal at the Johnson Space Center which involved the flight director of the Space Station! I have always referred to him as my husband ever since we went to the courthouse and obtained a Civil Union back when we bought our home. It was easier that explaining the situation. Now we are officially engaged to be married!

I spent the past few months working in quarries and helping get a customer straightened out.

And working on a plan to provide for the Foxconn project bid winners. Wisconsin Rocks!

The down’s – Price increases like crazy! I hate them as much as customers do. They are a ton of headache and I believe make businesses leery of their vendor. With the economy booming and prices on steel skyrocketing, additive costs for lubricants and crude oil costs rise. Please bear with me. I foresee more down the road and think it might be easiest for you to ask me for pricing when you need an order.

Otherwise, I’m just trying to get by. If I haven’t seen you in a while, I hope to stop by soon  – believe me, I don’t ever forget about any of you!

As always, thank you for your continued business!
