In a previous post, I believe I mentioned that I am trying to reach an agreement to supply DS Arms with their manufacturing oils. They are the producers of the FAL 7.62 rifle as well as the military rifles for 79 different countries around the world. I stumbled upon the opportunity by accident while stopping by to check out the new pro-shop.

Friday was their Law Enforcement Open House, but anyone was invited. Unfortunately, the weather played a factor in the turn out, but it was still a good time! During my last visit they told me about a mobile range, “Tri-County Tactical”, that would be present at the open house and showed me a picture of a large semi truck outfitted as a range. A lightbulb went off since I specialize in heavy duty engine oils. I immediately reached out to the owner of the mobile range and spoke about a potential marketing partnership. Keller Heartt/Shell would supply the engine oils for the truck in exchange for company logos on the sides of the trailer. I pictured a large slogan of “Powered By Keller Heartt Oil Co & Shell” with the Pectin if Shell would approve. Its a giant moving billboard that would grab the attention of most in my industry since they are all gun enthusiasts. Plus, Tri-County Tactical is a safety and skills training company which Shell is a huge proprietor of in everything they do.

I was taken into the range and had the chance to shoot an awesome .357 with a muzzle block and received some great instruction with my baby Glock. I’m sure the instructors will eventually read this so thanks again for the pointers! If all goes well with this partnership, I’ll be a sharp shooter in no time!
