Motorenfabrik Hatz is a German manufacturer of diesel engines, based in Ruhstorf an der Rott, Lower Bavaria, Germany. Especially known for its small, lightweigt and robust engines, the engines are mainly used in all kinds of small construction machinery, for generators or pumps. – Thank You Wikipedia.
I walked into one of my customers to find him with one sitting on a table, leaking oil everywhere.
Apparently, they aren’t the best of engines, but they cost around $17,000 to replace. For that amount, I’d try to fix it too.
This particular engine will work in a compacting piece of equipment that would compact the dirt and Earth in a sewer ditch. Makes sense since they are a water and sewer line construction company.
They have about 20 or so pieces of large equipment and have already spent around $1million on new pieces this year. Meep.
I have three accounts closing this week, which is HUGE! My careful patience in waiting for many fruit to fall has paid off.
For a fun little tidbit: I opened a fleet magazine at another customer while waiting for them to finish a phone call and found this lovely piece of marketing.
A Synthetic Engine Oil that works as hard as you do.
They let me keep the magazine.
=)
