I had the pleasure of attending an awesome training on over the road trucks at UTI, hosted by Shell, a few weeks ago!
The two day training consisted of a detailed look into the heart of the engine, transmission, cooling system, differentials, and even some oil condition monitoring. I had always wanted to check out the state of the art facilities at UTI in Lisle, which just-so-happens to have been built by my customer, Meyer Concrete Pumping. Lou and Mike, your team did a phenomenal job pouring the concrete for this building!
Lou of Meyer Concrete Pumping was kind enough to drive down from Des Plaines and donate his time to speak to our class about his fleet; specifically his lubricant experiences. I can’t stress the importance of these trainings for me. With only 2.5 years into the industry, I try soak up this material as best as I can and I truly enjoy it! It’s true that when you are passionate about something, it becomes a joy to learn.
It was nice getting to know the other HD reps from nearby Shell distributors as well. I must say that its an honor to work alongside of them in representing such a great brand. I look forward to more trainings in the future and more chances to continue expanding my industry knowledge!
